INTERVIEW: INESA PONOMARIOVAITE - CEO, 369 WELLNESS CENTER
While the health benefits of non-intoxicating cannabidiols (CBDs) are widely recognized, the hemp industry's focus on intoxicating THC hemp products could be its undoing.
The spending bill Congress recently passed to reopen the government had an explosive time bomb added by the Senate at the 11th hour. Included was a provision that hemp industry experts say will ban 95% of the hemp products currently on the market by next year. This legislation seeks to end the patchwork, state-by-state legal status of products containing more than 0.4 milligrams of total THC, including THCA, a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that converts into intoxicating THC when heated.
Many industry analysts are predicting the demise of the $28B hemp industry, but Inesa Ponomariovaite thinks this might be the most MAHA thing Congress has done yet. As a health and wellness expert and the Founder and CEO of Nesa's Hemp, she has had first-hand experience with the confusion in the marketplace between CBD and THC hemp products. Whereas CBD products have been demonstrated to have significant health benefits, THC products such as gummies, vapes, beverages, and creams exist for one and only one purpose: to get you high.
Inesa Ponomarioviate is Available to tell you why banning THC products might ultimately be good for the industry and your health!

THE ANSWER IS RIGOROUS, CERTIFIED THIRD-PARTY TESTING
How can you be certain that the hemp products you use comply with the new law? Third-party testing by a certified and reputable lab should be the first thing a consumer looks for in any wellness product, including hemp products. Unless the label indicates a testing certification, you should assume that it's untested and potentially harmful. Ideally, each bottle would have a code that would let you examine the certificate of analysis (COA) for that batch.
And the testing should be rigorous. Unfortunately, most supplement products are never tested, much less by a certified third-party laboratory. Currently, despite a byzantine labyrinth of overlapping FDA and FTC regulations, such testing is not required. Nor are supplement companies required to use an FDA-certified manufacturing facility. Inesa thinks that Congress can and should require testing and certification, especially if the legislation banning products based on THC content isn't amended.
That is why Inesa had Nesa's Hemp, LLC products establish a new industry standard for purity: testing to parts per BILLION (PPB) to ensure that the THC content meets federal standards and that there are no contaminants in any bottle. It is the first hemp extract to receive the Tested Safe Seal and is the world's safest, cleanest, and most effective hemp product. But she doesn't want her customers to to just take her word for it. She codes every bottle to the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for that batch, so Nesa's Hemp customers can review the test results themselves.
ASK INESA:
- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THC AND CBD?
- ARE ANY THC PRODUCTS SAFE?
- WHY MIGHT THIS BE THE MOST MAHA THING EVER?
- WHAT ROLE SHOULD PRODUCT TESTING PLAY?
- HOW CAN TRANSPARENCY SAVE THE HEMP INDUSTRY?
Inesa Ponomariovaite’s own life changed the day she received an early morning phone call from Lithuania. On the other end of that call was her mother. “Inesa, I’m dying. I have cancer.” Brokenhearted, Inesa was determined to help her mother in any way possible. She began exploring holistic practices and products, looking for anything that offered solutions. This led to her learning about the endocannabinoid system and other ways to restore people to good health.

Inesa has dedicated over four years to studying health and wellness, becoming an industry expert. With a passion to help her mother, Inesa sought support from experts all over the world. Her standards were high. She wanted to create elite products and use proven therapies. Put simply, she needed the best and when the best wasn’t available, she went out and made her own! That was the beginning of 369 Wellness Center.
